Believe it or not, our toolbox of research tools and equipment has actually grown smaller.  This has been a natural process as we have learned that more equipment does not guarantee more evidence capture. 

 

Just because a new gadget with bells and whistles claims to be a magnet to attract or measure paranormal activity does not mean that it will do just that.  While new researchers want to purchase every new device that offers a better chance of successfully gathering evidence, many of them fail to research just what does that new piece of equipment actually prove? 

 

Through experience, we have learned that modern paranormal investigation equipment offer no guarantee of providing confirmable evidence.  Electronic devices in this research field are prone to malfunctions which provide data that is not a guarantee of actually capturing definitive proof.  Wise investigators will do their homework and study basic scientific principles, determine if that new device will help their efforts to provide solid evidence, practice proper use of the equipment, determine the possible misreads the equipment is capable of, and then make their own decisions to purchase or not.  We have streamlined our equipment arsenal to include our list of the most reliable tools for paranormal investigations.  Though this list does not include all of the equipment we use, it should serve as a solid foundation we have built upon throughout our experiences.
